Quakers are committed to a way of worship which allows God to teach and transform us.
We have found corporately that the Spirit, if rightly followed, will lead us into truth, unity and love.
We worship in silence, interspersed with short spoken contributions (ministry) from anyone present who feels moved to speak.
Quakers believe in - and work for - peace, simplicity, justice and equality. We believe that all people have something of God within them.
We meet at 10:30 every Sunday for an hour. We welcome anyone to worship with us. If you think you would like to share your spiritual journey with us, for a short time, or for longer, please come to our meeting for worship.
Bolton Meeting House is at 50 Silverwell Street - just off Bradshawgate. There is a map from this link showing its location.
If you want to know more about Quakers, there is more information from the Links page. To contact Bolton Quakers go to the contact us page. Although our Meeting House is a centre for worship, Quakers do not believe buildings are special in themselves. We like to share it with the community of Bolton during the week.
We have 5 rooms available that we hire to a wide variety of groups - voluntary, statutory and commercial. If you want to know more about this please go to the "Booking a room" page.
