"How to Make Biodiesel" co-written by Goldenfuels and L.I.L.I. provides a good clear introduction to all aspects of biodiesel. Well recomended. This book also takes you through small and larger scale production as well as the legal aspects in the UK.

"From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank" gives a fantastic overview. It also covers the use of unmodified vegetable oil as a diesel fuel replacement. The only draw back is that it doesn't cover the UK legal situation.
