Ok, so in 2005 we made a decision to move forward and in 2008 we are a more go ahead church. Why? Well we have embarked on new ideas and we are encouraging and supporting new ideas and opportunities. We don't get it right all the time and we sometimes make decisions that still give us lump in our throat, but hey, it has to be better than being in a building which had at best lots of space but at worst was expensive to run!
New ideas need new people to get involved and the forthcoming DADS and KIDS Gardening opportunity beginning on 13th September will hopefully bring us all closer together so that we can all share our skills.
It ain't goin to be easy, but what the heck, if you don't try we will never know!
If you wanna give us a try, feel free to come to our Brew and Chat event every Saturday morning from 10:00am to 11:30am. It doesn't hurt, we won't criticise, but we will listen if you want to bend our ears. There is no set charge, you pay what you feel is adequate for what you consume.
We have tea, coffee (made with milk or without), toast, teacakes and sometimes other specials.
At the moment we don't do any other food, but watch this space that might change!
