TRANSFORMERS!

WHO? WHAT? WHERE?

What are you doing this summer?

Are you going away anywhere? Doing anything special?

Every year Tearfund sends Transform teams to roll up their sleeves and work alongside poor communities around the world. Groups of 10 to12 people visit a Tearfund partner for several weeks.

Transform teams do all kinds of jobs and activities, from teaching children to painting buildings. They learn together about what it's like to live and be a Christian in a different country. And they see how poverty affects the people who live there.

This summer, one Transform team will visit Rwanda. What kinds of things will they get up to?

Global poverty prayer chain

'In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do.'
(Matthew 6:14, The Message)

The Global poverty prayer chain stretches from Manchester to Malawi, London to Liberia and we'll ask God to equip his church - wherever we are. Tearfund believes that local churches are God's tool of choice for dealing with poverty. Through prayer and action, lives will be transformed for ever.

So we're inviting you to join a Global poverty prayer chain, with Christians and churches around the world, in one plea to God.
