e-Petitions (Last Updated 09/11/2008)

I don't know about your feelings on Fireworks, but this evening (Sunday 9th November 2008) I have had to sit and listen to 5 hours of incessant explosions (from 4:00pm and it is still going on at 9:45pm as I write this)caused by fireworks that have in many cases shaken the house or at least caused virbrations. My dog is perplexed and wonders what its all about. Bonfire night is November 5th and nothing should be set off until that date and nothing after otherwise it should be the subject of fixed penalty fine. There are a number of petitions on the e-government suggesting that they be banned and/or only available for professional events. I support that - would you consider doing so?
